1. This recipe is for a punch bowl for 10 persons. 2. In a glass of boiling water, infuse the Cinnamon Stick and the 3 Tea Bags (use Indian or Ceylan tea, non flavored) for 5 minutes. 3. Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl or bottle. 4. Serve cold using a ladle.
You have to use French Rum from Martinique to get the full flavor of this recipe. It has a very distinctive flavor compared to Caribbean Rum. It is also higher proof (usually 110 proof).
